Welcome to the Clarks Hill Partnership of Georgia website.
With over 1200 miles of unspoiled shoreline, Clarks Hill Lake is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi River. The lake was created in 1946 when the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers built the Clarks Hill Dam on the Savannah River.
This Region boasts State Parks, walking and hiking trails, boating, fishing, hunting, golfing, tennis and professional sports - all of which can be enjoyed year round because of the mild climate.
The quality of life in our region extends beyond housing, education, cultural and performing arts and recreational activities. We are rich in cultural history and have the best of both a rural and metro city living - and the atmosphere that makes both special.
We hope you find the information on this site useful. Please view the contact information for additional information, or to discuss a visit to the Clarks Hill Area. |
